LUANG PHOR TIM, WAT PRA KHAO, AYUTTHAYA

Official Title/Name: Phra Kru Sangworasamanaku

Luang Phor Tim of Wat Pra Khao, Ayutthaya was born in the month of March 1913 (BE 2456) in Ayutthaya Province. Initially, he was ordained at Wat Pikut for 3 months and left the monkhood for personal reasons but was ordained for a second time on 10th April 1948. Luang Phor Sang of Wat Namtao was his Preceptor for his second ordination.

He has been an expert of concentration of Buddhist Mindfulness and studied deeply into Vipassana Meditation under the revered Luang Phor Jong of Wat Natangnok and Luang Phor Sodh of Wat Paknam (The Master of Vijja Dhammakaya).

LP Tim completed his Tudong journey alone and is one of the top Guru monks of today. He's famous and popular for his knowledge in both Dhamma and Wicha (Knowledge of Supernarural Arts). LP Tim moved to Wat Phra Khao in 1949 where at that time the Chief Abbot was LP Ting Buddhasiri. LP Tim made highly effective amulets where their are countless testimonies from devotees, well noted are his amulets that possess the power to secure good fortune in business, wealth fetching, metta and business enhancements. LP Tim passed away in the year 2009 (BE 2552).

I have kept this for Phra Sri Vichai 1st Batch for many years, and over the years the relics (white colour) just kept appearing by itself.

This amulet is called Phra Sri Vichai because the holy powder was obtained from the caves of the Maha SriVijaya Kingdom era. It was believed that the holy men (ascetics, yogis) practised in such caves at those time. Therfeore, such caves have great spiritual energies and guardians. (I was told that Chao Khun had to use his Wicha (magical powers) to overcome the spiritual guardians (Datuk, Naga & Others) to obtain the sacred holy powder).

It was rumoured that this Phra Sri Vichai began after a fatal shooting incident in Bentong. It was rumoured that the victim survived miraculously. Not just once but the Phra Sri Vichai have delivered many unexplainable protective influence over it's bearers.

(THE GOLDEN TONGUE MONK)

Phor Than Krai (Luang Phor Krai) is a highly revered monk and is well known and fanous not
only in Thailand but also in Malaysia and Singapore. (I was very fortunate to have met him twice with my parents,once when he was visiting Penang and another time when we visited Nakorn Si Thammarat). It was said that whatever he spoke or predicted, very often came true, and that's why he was known as the monk with the "Golden Tongue"

When he was about 13 years old, he followed his father to gather and chop firewood (in those days, in Thailand, including Malaysia used to burn firewood over the clay stove for cooking) and as he was helping his father to chop one of the trees, the tree fell towards his direction and injured his left leg. Phor Than Krai thought that it was a minor injury, hence, he did not bother to seek for medical treatment, however, it took for the worse and his leg was infected and later developed into gangrene , the pain was unbearable; and he couldn't rake the torture anymore, he then took a sharp knife and chopped off part of his left leg. When the neighbours found out what happened, they were shocked, theythen when and look for the herbs to stopped the bleeding, later they found a herbalist who was able cure him.

With only able to only stand and walk on one leg, he was having great difficulties in moving around, was almost immobile (he often travelled around on water buffalo to aid his mobility) , at that time, he has to assist his family by bring water from the wells to the house (in those days, people living in the villages did not have supply of water from the pipes and has to get the water from the wells by drawing it up by using water buckets). Due to this disability and being partially handicapped, he decided to enter the holy life and was ordained as a novice monk at the age of 15, and at the young age of 26, he became abbot of his temple.

THE LEGEND

He became very popular in Thailand because he was able to predict what will happen to that person and/or event and it usually happens (this is a psychic power (abinnya) known an clairvoyance); moreover he was able to predict the lottery numbers, not only in his own country but also in Malaysia and Singapore, because of this huge number of Malaysians and Singaporeans will flock to see him and request for lottery number(s).

I had to relate to you a true experience, I was about 5 to 6 years old when I had a very high fever, those days, our family was in Kedah in the early 60s, there was only a few medical practitioner and at that time, my father was in Penang and had driven the car, my mother gave me several panadols to eat and yet the fever was not going down; my fever lasted until the third day, she panicked and was looking for a solution, she then remembered that when she visited Phor Than Krai, he gave my mother some of the chewed betel leaves (sireh) and told her to keep it and only use it in the event of any dangers. She put the betel leaves in my mouth, I chewed and ate it....after about 2 to 3 hours, my fever went down and was back to normal. (I attribute this miracle to save my life to this legendary monk).
